Camp focus: Whitewater kayak skills

Staff approval required for all registrants. Please call or email for approval prior to registering.

***Kayak Kamp 2.0 runs from 8:30am - 6pm Monday-Wednesday and Thursday-Friday is an overnight in the NC Mountains!***

During this week of kayaking we will focus on taking your camper's foundation of paddling skills to the next level. We will begin river reading and navigation skills and expand camper's skills working our way up to class III whitewater. Campers will also have the opportunity to work on their kayak roll during this camp.  The last 2 days of camp will be an overnight in the NC Mountains.

We have several Guide-In-Training (16-18 year old) positions available for this camp. Please contact us for more information on these positions.

These are not your typical day camps! Our camps are packed with adventure based activities bound to become memories (and skills!) that will endure throughout your child’s life!

Our Camps Guiding Principals - Set in a supportive and nurturing environment, activities are designed to educate campers about various outdoor skills and/or ecology, as well as challenge them in an effort to foster confidence and personal growth.  With trust and respect as corner stones of these sessions, we create a positive learning environment, enabling campers to gain a comfort and understanding of themselves, others, and the great outdoors.

Participants will need to provide all of their own lunches. Frog Hollow will provide Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast.

Individual Registration: $375 ($330 Early Bird)

Double Registration*: $625

*Double Registration Rates are available for siblings, or a camper registering for two different camp sessions.  Double Registrations must be made over the phone.
