Chicken Bridge to 15-501 - May 26, August 18, and October 13
Trip runs approximately 4 hours
The Haw River between Chicken Bridge and 15-501 is a beautiful, rocky and island riddled section of river. Paddling down from Chicken Bridge offers flat water interspersed with challenging class I & II+ whitewater.
Bynum Reservoir - July 13
Trip runs approximately 2.5 hours
Put in at the Bynum Dam at 15-501 and paddling the reservoir offers interesting flatwater exploration around the Haw islands.
Robeson Creek/Jordan Lake - April 7
Trip runs approximately 3 hours
Join on us on a paddle with a Riverkeeper as we explore where the Haw River comes into Jordan Lake. Take in the flora and fauna and learn about why preserving water quality in this area is so important. Trip will take place in day touring kayaks.
Trips include: recreational or transitional kayaks, basic river reading instruction, & guide service.
