The Grayson Highlands is a fantasy world of impossibly stacked boulders, vast swaths of grassy valleys, walks amongst clouds, feral horses, and mind blowing views! Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the hidden nooks and amazing tucked away gems of this truly magnificent region with our experienced and knowledgeable staff. This expedition will cover the skills and intricacies of backcountry travel through one of the Southeastern United States most amazing and unique mountain regions. Along with backpacking, this expedition will have a two day rock climbing component that covers all aspects of top rope climbing. Participants will learn everything from identifying holds to setting anchors to belaying and more!

· Map and Compass Skills and route finding

· Low Ropes/Team Building Activities

· Knot Tying

· Leave-No-Trace Ethics Education

Our Camps Guiding Principals - Set in a supportive and nurturing environment, activities are designed to educate campers about various outdoor skills and/or ecology, as well as challenge them in an effort to foster confidence and personal growth. With trust and respect as corner stones of these sessions, we create a positive learning environment, enabling campers to gain a comfort and understanding of themselves, others, and the great outdoors.
