4-5 hour class covers kayak nomenclature and fundamental kayak skills including basic strokes, concepts in craft handling, wet exits, and rescues in calm water. Classes are taught in recreational or day touring style kayaks and rotates locations through Falls and Jordan Lakes, and West Point on the Eno. |

INTRO TO KAYAK - Beginner |

Do you want to kayak NC’s numerous lakes or possibly our amazing coastal areas? If so, then this is the class for you! Considered by our staff to be one of the most important classes a kayaker can take - you will spend half a day learning and fine tuning various capsize recoveries, re-entries and rescues. TOURING KAYAK FUNDAMENTALS - Beginner to Intermediate |

Private lessons only (2 people min) This 3 hour class will introduce the skills you need to paddle with efficiency & confidence in the bow or stern position of a canoe. We will cover equipment, strokes, maneuvers, safety, and rescues. Course can be lengthened to cover BSA Canoeing Merit Badge requirements. $55 per person (2-4 participants) / $45 per person (5-8 participants) / Groups of 8+ please call for pricing |
