In this 4-5 hour class we will learn about various types of kayaking along with fundamental kayak skills including: identifying hazards, basic strokes, concepts in craft handling, wet exits, and rescues in calm water. These classes are taught in recreational or day touring style kayaks.

Combining the Intro to Kayaking Class with a Touring/Sea Kayak Fundamentals, Open/Deep Water Rescue Intensive, or a River Kayak Fundamentals Class is a great opportunity to fully immerse yourself (no pun intended) in kayaking skills that will benefit the rest of your paddling life.
