Capsize Recovery & Rescue

Do you paddle on lakes, sounds, or open water?  Do you paddle with folks who are new to kayaking?  Are you a new kayaker yourself?  Do you want to become a better kayaker? 

 

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then this class is for you!  Spend half a day learning invaluable capsize recovery and rescue techniques that every kayaker should know.

 

This class covers a lot!  Rescue management skills, T-Rescues, solo paddlefloat rescues, sling assists, cowboy scramble, all-over, bow assist, scoop, re-enter and roll, plus much more.

 

Combining the Touring Kayaks Fundamentals with Capsize and Recovery Rescue is a great opportunity to fully immerse yourself (no pun intended) in kayaking skills that will benefit the rest of your paddling life.
