If your idea of a good time kayaking, is heading down moving water and negotiating Class I, II, or the occasional Class III rapid, then, take this class!
River reading, eddy turns, peel outs, and upstream ferrying, identifying hazards, and basic self rescue, are just some of the fundamental river skills that are covered in this class. These sessions take place in stable recreational kayaks, not white water kayaks. However, folks who own their own white water kayaks are welcome to bring them on the se sessions, please just be sure to make a note of it at your time of registration.
Combining the River Kayak Fundamentals Class with an Intro to Kayak Class offers a great opportunity to fully immerse yourself (no pun intended) in kayaking skills that will benefit the rest of your paddling life. Not to mention, registering for multiple classes at the same time can add up to significant savings.
$85 per person for Calendar of Events sessions (dates above) $105 per person for private sessions (2 person minimum)
