Registration Information

As a small business, Frog Hollow is committed to tailoring the most professional, safe, and adventurous trip for you that we can.  Our small staff is on the water much of the week and not always right by the phone to answer calls immediately.  However, if you leave a message during our hours of operation, you can be assured that we will do our best to call you back as soon as we possibly can.

Hours of Operation
We are a 'home-based' business and do not have a store front, all services must be registered for in advance.  The 'office' is open from noon to 5:30 on Tuesdays and 9:00 to 5:30 Wednesday through Saturday, but we can run trips, instructionals, or rentals seven days a week.  Sundays and Mondays the 'office' is closed (we will not be with the phone) so, any services that take place during those days must be scheduled in advance.  We do on occasion respond to voice mails and emails after our normal office hours during busy months.


Registration Process

1) Browse through our website.  Once you have found a trip or service you're interested in give us a call to inquire about availability and to register. 


2) Frog Hollow will answer any questions you may have about the trip or service.  We then gather the necessary registration and deposit information (this process must take place over the phone).  Prior to finalizing registration, please familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy.

3) Once you are registered for a Trip or
Instructional, 3 to 4 days prior to the scheduled date of service, you will receive an email with directions to our meeting location at the water and information regarding what you will need to bring/wear. 
For Basic Rentals - A specific time and date will be established for you to come out to Frog Hollow and pick up your rental boat. 

4) The Service you registered for happens and we all live happily ever after!

Registration for all of our services is by appointment and must be finalized over the phone.  Same-day registration is usually not available.  To insure a greater likelihood of boat, staff, and/or delivery vehicle availability, our recommendations for advance registration are:

  • Overnight Trips - 3 weeks to 1 month prior to trip dates
  • Calendar of Events Trips and Instruction - 48 hrs to 1 week prior to trip date
  • Private Guided Trips or Delivery/Shuttle Service - 3 days to 1 week prior to desired trip date
  • Basic Rental - 48 hours prior to desired pick up date

Currently, all registration needs to take place over the phone.  As a small business we do not always have someone who can answer the phone immediately.  However your calls are important to us and we do our best to get back in touch with you as soon as we can.  On occasion there may be as much as a 24 hour delay for call backs.

If you have some general questions or are interested in gathering info about registering for a particular advance date, emailing is a great way to communicate with us.  We try to respond to all emails within 72 hrs of receiving them. Please keep in mind though, final registration for any services must take place over the phone.
