At various times throughout 2008, we will run trips to some of the many new camping platforms within the Roanoke Basin and Chowan River.  The dates for most of these trips will only be announced through our email update list and they will last anywhere from one to five nights.  To find out updated information about these excursions you will need to subscribe to Webfoot e-News.  These trips may also be set up for private groups.

Jordan & Falls Lake Canoe & Kayak Camping Instructional

These one night paddling trips are full of information and are a great introduction to the world of canoe & kayak camping.  Learn the "tricks of the trade", as we cover everything from loading your boat, to pitching your tent, to planning your own overnight paddling trip. We will set up for the night at a state park campsite with the comfort of bathrooms, water, picnic tables, and fire pits, however, we will cover low impact backcountry camping techniques and ethics.  Participants will receive a coupon that is good for 10% off any one other 2008 Frog Hollow overnight trip.
